I think mrtwink ment you cant add a ptr to your account as trial anymore. This should be mentioned in that f2p history thing. even tho I have p2p accounts I had ptr before I was p2p on eu.

Yes, that's correct. You have to copy a character to the PTR servers, but that option isn't available for trial accounts. However, you can copy your f2p twinks from your p2p account, if they are merged.

You can't. The option to do it is not available on a trial account.

It's been Free to Play available for quite a while. Used it to try patch 5.0 a very long time ago, when they made all the big changes to class abilities. I remember because the first time I logged on is when they had given everyone 50% resilience and such and was fighting a mage in Goldshire.
