Budget Gaming PC Build

  • Hey all,

I'm considering building my first PC and have made a preliminary parts list. I am not looking to spend much more than what this comes to. I will mainly be using the PC for gaming including WoW + recording videos and editing. Let me know what you think! I figured it'd be a fun thing to do as I've always wanted to build my own computer.

Intel Core i3-3220, EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti, NZXT Source 220 - System Build - PCPartPicker

Let me know what you think!

yeah that'll run wow at 60-80 fps easy, you may want to wait a month or 2 for the 4th gen intel processors so you'll pay less for your i3 Core.

Also buy it without an OS, pirate windows. it'll give you more cash for more ram/bigger gfx or i5core.

Looks pretty decent. You could prolly find some ram cheaper than that that does the job (Kingston FTW). Also, If you are looking to save money a 550Ti will run WoW maxed pretty flawlessly, in my experience.

i love ssd's, so id suggest gettin 1 of those and just rock an external if you have 1. its nice to boot windows in 10 seconds..

not a bad set up, I personally would look into something more than dual core but that is just me

This is the set up if I were to build a PC the items I didnt grab (example monitor) I have plenty of and would just use what I have
    Khaos PC

Thanks for the suggestions all, I think the i3 performs betters in most games than the AMD chip you picked, I will double check though.

Hmmmmm I run a AMD currently and I have no problems what so ever, I have this thing about intel, I feel your paying more for the name not the item

icore iirc is quad core and most if not all top end gaming comps use i7. its personal preference at the end of the day but i would advise sticking with i3 (or higher if posb)
