Coming back to the F2P bracket

Hello there everybody, i used to play F2P a lil while ago, not really the most well known person but i enjoyed my time here, and i'm coming back because of the new patches and the likes to test new things out.

First question: Môôp @ Aerie Peak - Community - World of Warcraft

This is my rogue, not sure if this gear is still BiS, i would imagine most of it is, specced assassination, i find it funner and more rewarding than sub. Is it worth switching out any of this gear for anything else? (BoA's/AGM are a given)

Second question, Are there any new quests/activities than would yield any usable/useful rewards to a F2P that we can do now?

Or possibly Hogger's Trousers if one is keen on minimizing auto-attack miss chances, and thus minimize chances for poisons (especially this one) to not proc. That's another possible option.

Thanks for the tips on gear, looks mostly like small changes/upgrades, which is good.

Still curious on the second part though, quests/activities/events?
