Un-merging trial account from P2P

    • hi, as the title says im looking for away to unmerge a trial account from a p2p account.

    Blizzard have told me its "not possible" as unlinking the trial account will delete it.

    I'm wondering if anyone have successfully managed to do this and how it was done?

    last time i checked it was impossible.
     
    I did it long, long time ago, by phoning Blizzard on their free skype number and describing the person I was talking to why is it so important to me, and that my accounts were linked automatically, without me asking for it. GM said that this time they can do it, but next time I ask the answer will be 'no'. I lost all pets, and all achieves/titles from p2p

    From p2p? Would make more sense losing 'em from the f2p acc o_O Or do you mean the achievs/pets you achieved on f2p got removed from p2p?

    If you mean unmerging a trial account from your battle.net overall account then yes, it is possible. You can go to their website and open a ticket to speak with a representative through that. Tell them that the trial accounts were made for family members to try out the game and they disliked it/made their own afterwards. They can delete those off your battle.net overall account, which houses all your accounts. You can also call their representative line and do it. I did it a month ago.
     
    i wanted to sell my f2p hunter with DPR loom but its attached to my P2P account, assuming i could easily unlink it i begun advertise selling the account.

    BUT ive run into some difficulty unlinking the account as a GM said "unmerging would delete the account and i would need to add a game license to the f2p account to have it transferred to a different email address"

    so im wondering if theres a work around to this.
     
    Someone claimed that it was extremely easy to unlink an account in the "Most valuable F2P thread". Let me see if I can find the post.

    I had a similar idea and went to this person to ask how but he said he does not give his tricks for the purpose of selling accounts/characters sadly :/
     
    Hah, anyone who says they can do something but won't tell you how is likely full of shit. At any rate it is certainly not "easy".
     
    Probably, I guess most of the time this happens with "kids" but I assure you he is not one of those "kids". I do have my account unlinked now thanks to him and gm's or what ever you call them over the phone, I'm kinda happy about it :D
