What is the best healer in 5.3 in your opinion?

Everyone was going crazy when the patch dropped about how once invincible healers were now mortals. Did 5.3 shake up your thoughts on which class & spec is the bracket's strongest healer?

Druids are still strong, and priest bubbles still take a while to pop. Don't see much of shammies, but they tend to die too fast to heal effectively.

Someone else can probably answer for pallies, as I only see them as stun-bots...

Druids are still good healers if they position well.... But so squish now.
Holy Paladin, Disc priest would probably be top par,
Resto Shams are unfortunately quite squishy with small heals but still viable with all the utility.

Unsure of monks, the ones I've been against are easy to take down though.
With the sheer amount of damage a Holy Paladin can dish out, I'd have to class them as the #1 current healer... But disc priests are a close 2nd.

Top healing numbers on the scoreboard does not make the best healer... The scoreboard only indicates a few things at best. It does not indicate, dispells, interrupts, purges, CCs, etc...it takes more than healing to be a great healer.

i think resto shamans are the strongest for arena.


in bgs i would say disc priest because of the immese damage output they can do aswell as heal.
