So I switched to Survival a couple weeks back in anticipation of losing intimidation. Playing survival in 5.3 as a 24 still nets me high dmg and kbs. However, I felt it was not as fun to play and switched back to BM. I am doing more damage and netting way more kbs(with KC burst), especially since resil is nerfed. So even without int..I'm feeling BM over Surv. Just wanted to get any hunter thoughts.

Well that's a given...I was also thinking more against 24s as well

Thing about KC, is pets are squishy. It dies your nuke dies.. and you get insta gibbed trying to rez it.

I agree, however not many people seem to really target my pet over me. I have the pet rez as well. As survival I gain ES over BM if pet dies. Just not feeling ES hits all too hard.

How hard does it need to hit to be enough?

I'm seeing ~ 300 crit per tick.

Not sure..just seems less potent than BM was all.

I personally prefer surv, but go with whatever feels better to you personally.

Surv is better but you will do well either way.
