I haven't played since early 5.1, and I was wondering if there's some things I should probably know. Thanks in advance, y'all!

By the way, I only really care about 19s...

With 5.3 coming out things arent solid but it seems like the classes/Specs that were weaker got a bit of a buff to make them somewhat viable. Healers got a nerf and boomkins are about the same.

towards the end of 5.2 alot of the games started getting even with the new patch it seems like Horde is constantly dominating with a bunch of range classes adn ally seems to always be melee heavy

A) Rumseys don't give Stamina anymore. Removed.
B) It was removed in 5.2 I am quite sure.
C) Blizzard is cute when they bring back skirmishes.

Also due to the fact that your only ally is a Melee maybe consider making a new twink, I am not kidding when Ally really doesnt need melee (Im going from Monk which I absolutely love to playing a hunter so that Im not gimping my team)

Not sure how far you are with huntx but are you sire you are set on that reason i ask is i feel like hunter is the one of tje most populated classes in the bracket

The only reason why I went with Hunter is Im not good at Casters (Mage, Warlock, Boomkin) the play style is not enjoyable for me.

I was indeed a prot pally once, but it just didn't feel the same when MoP came out. I really wanted to play ret, but the damage was just too inferior. It's still mediocre now though, but I think it almost matches up to that of an arms warrior, if you're going full offensive gear.
