New to Bracket: LF Arms/Fury (TG/SMF) Warrior Armories

what race? and arms is really the only viable spec out of the two. Fury seems like it might be cool but its really quite terrible (no burst and to much based on crit [unless you have the GF'd 65 crit cloak i wouldnt advise it])

Currently gnome cuz i wanted the lazor swordz for xmog (Very Light Sabre, *drool*), but can switch to any alliance race.
I want to do both arms and tg/smf fury, really.

Arms is the way to go, Fury is absolute shit. It has lower sustained damage, lower burst, rage issues and is so based upon RNG its almost worthless.

If you want to look up Darrwin on Windrunner that is pretty much your BiS Arms set that you can have.

Darrwin @ Windrunner - Community - World of Warcraft

Edit: And get BoA Valor Legs, I forgot I haven't farmed those yet.

For non GFd you would need to replace a couple pieces:

Neck: Gildwin's Medallion
Weapon: BAR BoA Axe w/ Crusader

Optional Replacements:
Bracer: Skullplate Bracers (1 Stam 6 Crit --vs-- 14AP)
Belt: Highlander's Mail Girdle (as Gidwin's hit caps you [9 Stam 6 Crit --vs-- 12 Str])

You know, i may retract my statement about Fury. I did only try TG and against a disc priest. It may have its place but I am very skeptical that it will be better than arms.

Referring to this link you can get everything besides the cape, what Darrwin is wearing is next best thing. and the trinks, best two would be inherited insignia of the horde and lessons of the darkmaster (if you have tryanny and other trinks you can switch in between cd's). if you looking for good damge and crit i would say thats the way to go. you still get 4.5k hp with fort and alch potions so hp isnt all that bad.

Another good necklace you can get is Necklace of the Dark Blase from scholomance. theres afew others i could name but i think those 2 are really the most beneficial to get.

P.S: Eng and alch is very viable for wsg. you gain ALOT of extra stats being a alchemist i usually sit on 650-700 depending what extra buffs i receive from other people in wsg and have 26%+ thanks mostly to being a alch. (there's also a potion you can use in arena that gives you either 16 int, str or agil depending what you highest stat is. So if its str you would get 16 str, ontop of that you only have to make that potion only once and it never runs out and last for 2 hr every time you use it, does not disappear through death or arenas). I found it very useful. Without the epic cape you still sit on a considerable amount of crit, im guessing 20% at least i can get back to you on that.

Edit: without the gf cape you get about 15% crit witch is 5% lower then i guessed.

Eng is good just for extra stuns on healers or people your trying to kill. If you choose eng you can Wear (Green Lens), two good lens to wear as a fury/arms warrior would be Green lens of bear witch i believe gives 28 stam 18 str or you can get green lens of the strength witch gives 28 str and 10 stam. Im not saying for you too go those profs two i just think personally they are the most beneficial.

If you find that you end up being by yourself lots in wsg l properly best to change str gear to of the bear. i have both so i can switch depending on the situation. Hardest item would be getting Unearthed Bands of Power they are grandfathered but some people still have them unbound out there (Depending how far you go to gearing your toons you can get one if you really try), next of for bracers is what Deveringtun said. i hope this helps :)

I Just changed my gear to everything you can get relativity easy.

Is there an alternative to the jackhammer? Or is boa axe the best it gets?
Is it the same best alternative for TG fury as well? Dual wielding boa axes that is.

BAR with crusader is better than jackhammer when in def stance. When switching to battle to burst I swap to hammer. In your case I would just full time BAR. TG really isnt good, SMF is much better and Arms is much better than that.

Yeah I tried that site yesterday, but the warrior doesn't exist, and the [prot] paladins, I'm not sure if they're up to date. Well this sucks, gonna have to wing it.

Sorry about that. I went through and did a bit of updating just now. It should be 100% up to date by the end of tomorrow.

Jackhammer is really a sidegrade I feel, with it you have a little less rage problems but sacrifice a little bit of burst and some surv stats

BoA axe is just as good if not better in some situations as well. I would highly recommend not going TG if you want to play fury. Sure it may feel cool to duel wield two handers but SMF outdamages TG easily

Your best bet I feel is either going Disc Rod MH and Sword of Decay OH although I haven't been able to test dual SoDs yet.

Disc rod is GF'd. Is sword of Decay really the only option? Aren't there any others?

You could go wsg sword mh but the reason SoD is so good is because its a 3.4 speed 1h which translates great for weapon damage. That way you can focus less on getting str/ap and more on crit which is really the only stat you should be going for as fury.

The only thing i am unsure of is how rage is generated via auto swings and if it scales with weapon speed because if it scale poorly you may have rage issues using two SoDs.

Play arms until you can get your hands on atleast one SoD. Then queue up on Wednesdays and Fridays to get honor for the sword if you are still looking for the second SoD
