Impromptu Hiatus

Oi my brethren. Seeing Alexandriya's thread made me realize I should have made this post several weeks ago, as most of you probably think I died or fell off the face of the world... of warcraft. Anywho, better late than never I suppose. Obviously my activity has digressed considerably due to my first year at college and the absurd amount of studying *cough* binge drinking *cough* that came along with it. I expected to play more during the summer so I figured a thread wasn't necessary, but I landed a paid internship with an investment firm and now work 50 hours a week. As if 50 hours in the office doesn't make me too busy, I'm in the process of treatment and community service for a DUI that I chalked up on New Years Eve (great story, you'll have to hear it in vent sometime). I still planned on playing WoW, however, so again I didn't think a thread was necessary. Unfortunately I can't make it to the WoW login anymore due to my Launcher crashing... I've already spent some 6 hours troubleshooting to no avail. As soon as I find some time in my nutty schedule to fix this fucking problem I'll be back to playing WoW, but likely on a sporadic schedule due to aforementioned circumstances. There is no need to turn this on me, I just get fed up of seeing you always mention how "hammered" you are and it jerks me the wrong way as I lost my auntie to a drunk driver, and seeing you makes me wonder, When will it happen; when will he be the next one to take an innocent life... It's like watching a train wreck before it happens with you Drugs. Now I'm not going to get into a petty argument with you about how I handle my alcohol, and I can assure you I may be a pretty confident person which may come off as arrogance to most but at least I'm in the right state of mind to make sure I don't put others at risk from my indulgence. Now don't take this as an attack drugs and what I've been posting is a bit risky, ill admit that but its just very frustrating.

I am someone who can walk the same steps with Yowza here, I have lost a brother and my uncle (two different instances) to drunk driving, if your the kind of person who drinks and drives, then goes on to brag/openly think nothing is wrong with it, it lowers my opinion of you as a person. Now as this is over the internet and to be honest I dont really know you, just know what I have read. But the idea of anyone drinking and driving puts me and anyone who has lost a loved one to it into a very offensive attitude towards the person.

On a side note, get better man, I would say please dont drink and drive but as this is the internet and I really dont know you I really have no place to tell you what to do.

Everyone makes mistakes, i know for a fact chad wouldnt be stupid enough to do it again, the day he did i talked to him the next day and he showed nothing but Remorse for what he did.
He is in college, hell if i was there i would be getting so written off give the guy a break

truth is the few times I played wow over the school year were nights I struck out at the frat or bar and came back to my room hammered with no girl to smash. hence the "few times" part
