So im interested in trying out f2p on EU servers, and i was hoping if anyone could give me an estimate of how much my ms will increase by , right now its 35-45 on a normal day . btw i live in us

well if you got a computer with maybe 2.8 GHz and came with windows 7 you should be ok. if you use mac then i dont thibk you will have a problem either.

if you have a slow processor the game will run slow - internet will run slow meaning if you are trying to connect cross country your gameplay will get worse and you will have alot of lag. Why do you think they make Quad core processors?

I have 40 ms EU and 160 ms US. But it is really easy to just adjust your WOW/WTF/Config.wtf and check for yourself.

From West Coast US playing on AP server I get about 100 Ms. when I play on EU servers, I get about 230 Ms.

Ive played Both in US and EU, i dont see any latency diferences exept numbers...

You need to go into your WoW folder then go into WTF, then you click to open Config with wordpad or microsoft word. In this file you will find a long line of text. at the top it says SET locale "enUS". Change that to SET locale "enGB" then you scroll down until find SET installLocale "enUS" near the bottom, change it to SET installLocale "enGB".

That's all the files you need to change, now you go to eu.battle.net and make an EU account and you just open your normal WoW and log in, the first time it will take a little longer but still <5 min.

And thats about it.
