New F2P Realm!

I might install EU. Which servers do you play on Loli? :)
 
how is latency on eu if i play us?
 
EU is fine with latency, shouldnt have a problem. no one else from US has had major problems from what i know.
 
ok thanks ill try to reroll over there as soon as i can i really want to meet new people and stuff. also how many people are online daily. and what should i roll? im thinking warlock but idk

Hi, thanks but I should warn you this is a new idea of mine, its a new F2P realm so at the moment there is only 3 of us, another one will be joining soon, hopefully it will grow into a bigger realm. If you still want to help the realm grow then join as soon you want! :) If you are looking for a realm already heavily populated then I should suggest Aggramar. And no matter what realm you choose, I agree warlock would be a really cool. :D

i will probably join laughing skull recently found out that a few people from ap ally play there and some of my friends are going there aswell. i might make an ele sham, lock and a guardian druid to faceroll with

The good thing about a quite realm like Laughing Skull EU is that you always have a huge chance of winning the fishing contest and AGM

Edit: I won first place and Lucky fishing Hat on my first ever go on this realm

I tried the following to change my client, very quick procedure and should work:

Choose one:
  • edit your EU client and edit it back after, or
  • if you have the room, do what I did: copy the entire installation into another folder (called WoW US or something).

In the copy / in your client open the file Config.wtf in the WTF folder in any text editor (I used a code editor because Mac TextEdit screws code up sometimes).

Change two lines (first two lines for me, but they might be somewhere lower in the row of SET blah, depending on what your client wrote last).

From:

SET locale "enGB"
SET installLocale "enGB"


to:


SET locale "enUS"
SET installLocale "enUS"

Save the file and that's it. :) Can log into US now. Change it a bit before the meeting though, first time starting up the client might be slightly slower since there are minor differences in the clients that will be fixed.
