85 Ret pala question when xfering to horde

  • Hi im thinking of xfering my 85 pala to horde.

currently i use bs/alch as professions but im thinking that it might be better to drop alch for something else when horde. LW, JC or maybe even tailoring ?

Reason for this is that i feel that rets are rly dependent on being able to control the burst we have. With that said it seems to me that it would be better to keep the pve on use trinket and then use pvp trinket as 2nd trinket. Is this correct or would it still be better to keep alch trinket+pvp trinket

Using sunlute as wep if that matters for any reason :p

    Thanks for help

Alch trinket + PvP trinket imo. The alch trinekt will always proc on start of combat, i.e. when you land your first hit. Since this bracket is pretty much all about burst, and if you're someone who pops all CD's at start (nothing wrong with it), it will increase your burst by a lot. The passive amount of mastery is also so awesome. Another thing that most people don't think about is the 40% passive health potion increase. With that 40% you'll heal pretty much full health every time.

What I would do is, test it out. Test it and see what you prefer really.

i never play arena with alch trink... for anything else than arena/rbg alch is bis imo with the 1 minute loh and all....

Yeah thought so to. Thing is im mainly interested in arena :) And it seems to me that the on use str trinket is much better there casue of the abillity to decide when to use it or not. Then again alch trinket has a internal cd on 50 sec i think so its rly good even if its a random proc i suppose :)

55 sec ICD from what i found, so with 15sec buff you only have to wait ~40 sec between procs. its not "random" either, its listed as 35% on wowhead but it feels even better; it procs very quickly on combat. it definitely warrents a trinket slot IMO, its got the passive ~5% mastery (before reforging ofc) and the proc gives just under 1300 str on average. the pvp trink you cant reforge, and 2min cd. ~2% pvp power/resil is nice, and ondemand burst with useage is good too, but id take zen alch over that, so just gotta decide if u want pvp one for second slot
