=FURY WARRIOR - WARGLAIVE PVE GUIDE / TIPS =

Hello, my name is Elkiva.
Within this guide I'm going to be telling you a few things you wouldn't normally know about the prestigous warglaives of azzinoth.

=Warglaive Stats=

I want you to all look very closely at the states of the specified items listed below " Of which will be the warglaives "

Mainhand Glaive:

Binds when picked up
Unique
Sword Main-Hand
Speed 2.80 302 - 562 Damage
(154.4 damage per second)
+22 Agility
+47 Stamina
+21 Hit

Off - Hand Glaive:

Item Level 156
Binds when picked up
Unique
Sword Off-Hand
Speed 1.80 194 - 361 Damage
(154.3 damage per second)
+21 Agility
+46 Stamina
+23 Critical Strike

These stats are very odd for a warrior, any reason why? Because they both have agility on them.

=Procs=

Now I know many people speculate that the warglaives are pretty much useless for a level 70 warrior using them in fury however I think they're wrong.
You see, the warglaives have a specified proc...When you obtain them both you'll recieve the following 2 set bonus:

(2) Set: Your melee attacks have a chance to increase your haste by 450 for 10 sec.
(2) Set: Increases attack power by 200 when fighting Demons.

Now, the 200 attack power whilst fighting the demons comes as a bonus...however!

The chance to increase your haste by 450 for 10 seconds is very good, I'm going to call this out right now "Bracing myself for some hate" I'm stating the warglaives
are best in slot for a level 70 fury warrior...Why? Well this is why:

A warrior has many abilities, within the fury side of things they're pretty much damaging abilities " As any melee class would have " However the procs a fury warriors hass
are vital. The procs that a warrior in fury recieves commonly increases the attack power of your character and also the haste of your warrior.

Now, lets look at this procs:

Crazed Berserker: Allows for one handed weapons to be duel wielded " Passive: Gives Auto attacks 10% Damage increase / Off-Hand recieves 25% damage increase "

Single Minded Fury: The warrior becomes a custome to one handed weapons, allowing them increase all damage done to their main - hand weapon by 35% and their off hand weapon by 35%

Flurry: Your melee hits have a 9% chance to increase your attack speed by 25% for your next 3 swings.

Deep Wounds: Your Mortal Strike, Bloodthirst, and Devastate cause the target to bleed for X Physical damage over 15 sec. " Scales with your attack power "

Enrage: Mortal Strike, Bloodthirst and Colossus Smash critical strikes and critical blocks Enrage you, generating 10 Rage and increasing physical damage done by 10% for 6 secs.

Now, all of these are very powerful passive abilities.

The reason I've posted all of these? Well a warrior benefits greatly from haste since 5.2s release.
The more haste you have the more attacks you'll be able to do, So with the warglaives haste increase incorperated with Flurry and all your passives you're going to be hitting a very large amount of damage in a small space of time.

Whilst attacking a boss for example, you'll be attacking with a huge attack speed ratio. This means your bleed effects and all of your passive abilities "WILL" Proc.

Now, with this you also have to keep in mind that you've still got all of your other cooldowns, such as Berserker rage and recklessness.
All of these interlinked with the warglaive proc will significantly increase your overall DPS output.

I shall make a decent rotation for everyone at some point who's using the warglaives " If you're not I'll still make a rotation for you guys with other weapons "

=Overview=

Warriors in general don't really benefit from agility, however the overall damage output from all your passives and procs will give you a huge boost to your damage, basically adding strength to your character without using actual strength " Does that make sense? "
If played correctly it's incredibly overpowered.

I'll post a video in this guide sometime in the following days just to show you the major difference between some of the common BIS items for a warrior.

Thanks for this brief guide on the warglaives for a level 70 fury warrior.
If there is anything I've missed out be sure to let me know.
Video will be posted ASAP.

Elkiva.

" This is the first ever guide I've created, so please be gentle with me! <3 "

wouldn't wild strike damage be gimped, though? it's based on weapon damage, and since the offhand is a fast weapon... Just wonderin.

Not so true, it hits for the same amount as the apolyon the soul render " Duel Wielded" And even more.

I'll link a video sometime today or tomorrow showing the warglaives vs apolyon :)
It's rather surprising to be honest with you.
