Level 1 Hunter

Hey guys, I am feeling extremely lazy today I am thinking of making a level 1 Hunter;
What would be best in slot?
What would be best race - in your opinion - for Horde and/or Alliance for Hunter?
Do thy level ones get together for some activities and/or events?
[MENTION=990]chubs[/MENTION] and [MENTION=8058]BoudThe1Twink[/MENTION] - I'd mainly prefer you two to offer your opinions on these, I don't mind if it be as detailed as one of Robert Jordan's dress descriptions or just a simple 'Blah, blah' response

Although I am no chubbs and no boud, i think I can answer your question:
- Best race horde: Troll definetely. Insane regen, bow expertise... this is definetely the top 1.
- Best race alliance: Worgen. the speed boost is extemely useful in kiting, and +1% crit passive makes you kill opponents even faster. Instant skinning is also nice and makes prof farming a little less boring.

Lasting Feralheart Spaulders gives you 1 resillience. Good for PvP, but you'd lose 1 crit and 1 agility. That's all I have to comment on the video Crystal posted

why squealer's belt on a hunter? aren't the vendor/starter area quest rewards better?

I'd like to remind you that no matter what heirlooms did to this humble class, hunters still use leather gear for the first 40 levels
