I havent played Hpala since cata, just wondering what i need to improve for mop.

i know i need to change bracers and shield.

I've been using Arctic buckler and like it plenty -- nice armor, some stam, and the spirit means (at least for me - my combat regen is just a bit higher than yours) I do not OOM ever. So I'd drop the 100mana enchant (some players do use it - you can ask them if it really helps) and go with stats. The extra armor from the loom chest and its stats are also nice - I think it's better for hpal than inferno robe presently.

thanks for the feedback, ive used 100mana as i have ooms quite a few times which left me shock/wog healing.

any specfic secondary stat i should be stacking? ie haste/crit

In my experience the mechanics of holy pally and the way stats go it doesn't make too much of a difference, but I think crit > haste for holy pally, and I prefer sp > haste on gloves. Hpally doesn't benefit as much from a reduction in the GCD compared to other classes. I tend to play the class a bit differently perhaps, as I am using holy shock basically every time its CD is up either to damage or heal, and WoG often when I have 3 charges, so don't get into long repeats of flash of light where haste may help - and really the other team shouldn't be letting you get into long repeats of flash of light.

crit doesnt overlap haste on any of your slots except possibly cape but 1 haste > 1 crit

+100 mana to chest is absolutely needed for a hpally vs other classes because of how much FOL mana cost is vs other heals and how much you spam it.

For secondary stats go haste>crit>w/e else. Players die or live depending on how many globals you get off now because of how high the regular heals are vs hp pools and how low sp scales for overall healing output.

Also get a the boa 2h mace (ive seen others use the boa 2h ax but to maximize the effect go with the 2h mace) and +20 haste if you know you wont get focused by melee (can make a wep swap macro to switch between reg shield/mace and the boa mace if you feel your going to get melee focused)

for fcing str/resil boa shoulders are superior to boa plate shoulders now. I also prefer +30 sp over 22 int for fc mace but it is personal preference.
