New Masked Armory -- Need Beta Testers!

Hey everyone.

The new version of Masked Armory is on the horizon and I was hoping for some testing help to ensure that it goes live with no problems.

4/3/13 Fixes


  • Reputations/Achievements/Share tab are now 100% operational.
  • On the Pets/Mounts tab, the amount of mounts collected and not collected are now correct
  • On the Main tab, the gear should always be showing up with a refresh now.
  • On the Sidebar, the 'Create New Armory' and 'Report Buy' buttons work now.
  • On the Pets tab, the tooltips when hovering over a specific pet are now a lot more informational.

Upcoming Fixes


  • Stats block still needs to be worked on on the Main tab.
  • Alternate Gear Sets will be implemented.
  • Updating the image backgrounds on the sidebar and on the frontpage.

Please let me know if you find any further bugs or things that need to be cleaned up.

Quite nice new UI, already like it =)

Although I would like to see the specific stats added as the old masked armory and currently everything shows up as epic around the item icon.

At first glance, I wondered how many people honestly cared about the specific stats from a buying perspective. It is that important for Twink account sales?

As for the epic border around everything, that is something that I have already fixed locally. Just not something I have deployed.

I am also disabling the Mounts/Pets/Titles page links if the character does not have any. I figure that will be better than people clicking onto a blank content page.

Actually, for me yes.

For example, check out my lvl 10 twink rogue on the new masked armory: Level 10 Troll Rogue | WoW World of Warcraft Armory Profiles | Masked Armory

Wouldn't it be nice to check out my crit and dodge? =) You can enhance the base stats place with an arrow so you get to the specific stats, not a hard thing to do.

Also, since you see the character in the transmog you maybe should add it the purple thing with a link in the item icon like the blizzard armory.

Understood for the stats. I can add them in there easy enough, just did not really want to put more information in there than what was actually necessary.

The icon backgrounds have been updated.

As for the transmog links, that is not possible as wowhead tooltips do not have that tie in. The character image is a static render pulled from Blizzard.

Also, another thing. Is there any place where you can check the characters health and mana?

Here is the thing with stats -- you care that much, just have them link you a real armory. That is going to give you all of the stat information that you can need.

All I really want to snapshot here is gear, mounts, titles, pets, achievements, reps. This is purely supposed to be a gateway to a sale, not all-encompassing. That is why I removed all of the stat stuff.

A few things I noticed:
(Some of these aren't such a big deal, just letting you know :) )
  • The first time I made the profile it did not show any items, after I refreshed the page however it did.
  • The Masked Armoy is not showing which "of the something" I have on the crafted armor.
  • The base stats are wrong. It says I have 86 strength and 11k agility on my Warrior. Also the amount of stamina and mastery is wrong.
  • On the pets tab, it does not show which level the pets are.
  • The amount of pets not collected is incorrect. It does show the right amount I have collected, but under not collected it shows the total amount collectable, not the amount I have not yet collected.

It looks really nice so far tho!
