What did they say about rat-fink weasels who cry to mommy? Did they say that such a person was more or less likable as a human being? Did they comment on whether if such a person was singled out for repeated camping as his teammates refused to heal or protect him in any way - would that be a violation of the ULA? If his teammates lol'd as his toon died over and over? If he ran and cried, would Blizz protect the little cry-baby? Just wondering?

Also; Let's not mention the track record vividly proving that GMs literally - in every since of the word - have no clue what is right/wrong, allowed/disallowed, exploits/bugs - banable/not banable, allowed/not allowed - and so forth.
Every GM will give you a different response, because it depends on how you interpret what ever rule set they're looking at. Just like you might not get help from first GM because their rules: "state that they cannot help you", yet 5 GMs later and you randomly are allowed assistance with your issue.
It's really quite fascinating that people 8 years later still take a GMs word as solid. It's not. Ask enough GMs and you can get them to tell you that anything is legit/not legit - basically.

There was no duel, a mage killed my warrior in pve gear and pve spec which was a warriors complete hard counter at the time.

People have already been banned for it. It just depends on the GM. Most probably dont even know that its an exploit
