  • okay guys this is my first game in the 39 bgs & see ima say this as nice as possible

you guys have dual talents so if you see you already heave 3 healers in the BG than switch specs

its annoying having 5 healers in one bg thats a healer for each dps & the fc.

Being new this bracket this issue is big to me so treat it like the Prot warrior issue & do something bout it .
k thank you gg guys :)

I agree that too many healers on either side doesn't make for much fun.

The first game I played in tonight, we had 4 healers on Horde and there were 2 on Alliance.
The next 3 games after that there weren't more than three on Horde and no less than three on Alliance.

    Seemed fairly even.

well you werent in my games because the first 3 games horde had 4 healers , than 4 healers again than 5 healers :)

Believe it or not, there's quite a bit of the dedicated 39ers that don't view these forums. It's about 50/50 between These forums and the bg forums.

The best thing you can do is jump in the 39 twink vent during games, and jump into the other faction's channel to ask one or two of their healers to go DPS.

    That really isn't your fault.

The 39 Twink Community and the owner of the vent channel does not like outsiders to know the vent info.

Basically what this means is, the people who know the vent info; will not give it out willingly. So you won't find a thread about it on twinkinfo, twinking.net, or the BG 39 thread. Really the only way to get it is to show up on scheduled games and ask one of the dedicated 39s for the vent info. No one will post it in the /bg chat, they'll whisper it to you.

From my understanding, the Vent owner prefers to keep dedicated 39ers in the Loop; and the non-dedicated players outside of it. It keeps the trolls out and it makes for better quality games. Every game will feel like a premade if everyone inside the Vent Channel are dedicated players who are actually playing objectively.

If you show up for a scheduled game, and your character doesn't even look like you put forth any effort; they might not give out the vent info. If your toon looks geared and it looks like you put some real effort into making your toon geared, they will WANT you in the vent. Coordination and Communication is the key to winning a game. But if you aren't geared, you won't be much help :p

Good info. Unfortunately for me I am unable to make the scheduled nights due to my schedule. However, I will be ready when an extra night gets added.

I've asked for the vent info and they've been kind enough to spam it in /i. Just do it as you're waiting for the gates to open not mid game ;o).

And speaking of 39 vent - I'm not sure how it is hordeside but alliance is waaay too quiet. Just sayin'...

The 39 vent is no secret (and gets used for 29s and other brackets as well), but no one posts the vent info in forums. That's common courtesy, as posting info invites trolling. Several players have the vent info macro'd for /bg chat at the start of the game, and it would be awesome if more players did so.

That said, R Prime is right. More actual communication on vent would help games.

I often spam vent info at the beginning of games when I play. Also a 4 healer comp is acceptable IMO. Any more than that is not. The problem tends to be with communication. I can't tell you how many times it's just me talking in vent as a healer. Cc isnt being called out and under utilized. Dps targets are split, instead of being called out and focused. Hell in a well organized match if the other team has 4 heals and mine has 3 I feel at the advantage. Simply having that extra dps at mid chop or on Offense is key when it's a race to force that first kill, or down the EFC.

Just to clarify Mcer is wrong. Nobody who plays in a 39 game is excluded from vent. Everyone is welcome to join.

Ty for clarifying that soskanky. It's nice to know things are more easy-going now than it was back in wotlk/early cata.

My first game last night, added Sun's battletag from the WoW forums thread and he instantly hit me up with the vent info -- even though I was on Horde :p. People on Horde side were posting it at the start of games too.

Aliiance vent is usually people asking when the current game is going to end because there waiting in que. Im as guilty as the rest of the people for not talking though
