    • as anyone ever started a guild aimed towards f2p?..... some smartarse: omg noob we can't join a guild.
    no. what i mean is, start a 20-24 guild disable gchat and use the f2p addon. they'd always be a p2p about to Q you and stuff, and if 2-3 of these guilds sprang up x-sever premades would be great.
    i thought of this 2mins ago so input needed
     
    I dont see what the point is in the guild? It seems like everything that would be beneficial is already incorporated into the f2p addon... elaboration needed.

    the point would be bringing more p2p's into f2p scene, and more premades / arena.
     
    aII that an f2p guiId ever can be is everyone who is on the server and who has the f2p addon

    Aerie Peak is the Iargest "guiId" and there's pretty much aIways a p2p on Aerie Peak for premading/queueing

    come reroII your f2ps and p2ps (with f2p restrictions) on Aerie Peak and stop recruiting ppI to random servers other than Aerie Peak - pIaying on other servers onIy Ieaves you with an empty and bitter souI

    This idea has been tried before with Aerie Peak Strike Force, and it didn't go well. Most of the players you recruit have no idea about the f2p restrictions and when you explain to them you want them to use those rather then p2p chants, they say HURDUR I PAY TO PLAY. Then a month later you see them at level 24 fully loomed and enchanted. It does more harm then good for F2P.

    i have a toon on AP. but not everyone wants to play on AP "shock horror".
     
    no earl, its viable. depending on the intrest from p2p's will make it a reality or not.

    shooting down on an assumtion will kill it out right before anything has happened.

    but the only ones that would be out of our control would be the f2p's. the p2p's would be told the guild rules from day on one.

    and what is that s'pose to mean? the whole idea of premades came from the p2p bracket(s). and you'll notice i wrote "a guild aimed at f2p". if you just came to be cool please leave and read some sort of trolling guide, mr. prot (lol) pally.

    You could try selling the f2p add-on as a simpler substitute for oQueue for timing simul-q premades, just making them a part of the community and chat as a side effect, and maybe some would even be up for playing 20s with you once they got to know you. *shrug*
     
    Ok, I've been throwing around an f2p guild idea for a while now. I don't think you guys are gonna like it. But it is A) free, and B) easy.

    Every f2p on this forum, all of us, we go make PTR toon copies (wouldn't need to reroll even!), then lock XP at 20. Then we're ALL on the same realm, in the same guild, and we just do wargames. That way we know we're always playing against good players, every game is a good match up, the Qtimes drop to ZERO for everyone, we can use the rated system (wait idk if rated pvp is working on the ptr), but perhaps most importably NO LATIN NIGHTMARES!! we could totally avoid getting dumped into a Quel'Thalas/Drakkari etc BG! Come on, I KNOW you all want it)

    Also... have we considered that if anything, we'd be able to actually mail stuff between toons that way? I know, I know, it's not "retail"... but it's pretty darn close, and ohhhh the guild perks we could have :)
