Feral is the new Boomkin?

    • As ive noticed in the last few games Ferals are doing MASSIVE op dmg- Feral is the new Boomkin?
     
    Feral's damage hasn't changed. Range DPS is almost always better than melee DPS.
     
    Feral Druids have more single target damage than balance druids, but balance druids have more overall damage with multi-dotting.
     
    Ferals have always done massive amount of burst. generally they do more burst than a Boomkin if they can have enough tot. Boomkins just rein surpreme due to the fact that they are more balanced (no pun intended) they heal well, they have amazing mobility and they do great damage
     
    Both have their advantages. but the Boomkin is better because it allows you to hit from a range, dot multiple people, and keep you from over extending in certain situations.
     
    ferals hit hard on clothies, boomkins hit hard on anything. go boomkin
     
    imo, they seem to be hitting harder than they were before 5.2, yet i see nothing in the notes of feral to explain it. last night in BGs alot of players are noticing and making comments on this, etc
     
    Boomkins actually suck vs hunters now. They heals has gotten nerfed i think

    Hunters now do more burst. That is what it is. Boomkin healing hasn't changed outside of Rejuvenation costing less mana.

    We're still superior to Hunters in 1v1s though.
