go to the least populated realm or bribe all players on your realm with the help of a p2p friend and fish happily

All you can do is run around fishing in nodes as fast as you can trying to avoid as many mobs as possible. One big thing is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION, when I won for the ring I started at the top of northern STV and moved down. If you have a high level chracter that can escort you around or give you water walking then thats great but not really needed necessarily to win, sometimes it just comes down to what weekend you do it and how any people are trying to do it that weekend.

I managed to win it in like 3 tries on a F2P located on AP... dont ask me how I have no clue how it happened. It may just be that my char has too much swag

I am the master of the obvious but set Looting to Auto-Loot. All you have to do is cast between catches. I have a bunch of swim speed pots from the fishing dailys, I pop one to get away from stuff I aggro'd.

Very few people on Draka do the fishing contest. Three weeks ago I won 1st in like 28 min and then went to try to fish up a LFH on AP. I came back to Draka for last 20 min of the tourney trying for a LFH. When I went to turn in my odd stacks of tasty fish she wouldn't take them, no one had claimed 2nd prize.

So far on Draka: 3 LFHs & 4 DPRs. one 1st place, three 2nd places and three 3rds. If I ever re-sub, I'll do a cross server invite to some needy individual.
