Will a GM do this?

Deleveling process isnt actual removal of levels. Its a character "rewind" if you want to call it. However, you have slim chances of finding an actual GM who will want to do this. Even if you do they have certain rules for rewinding your character to a certain point. The rules are that depending on your characters level, there is a certain time limit your character will be legible for such a rewind; the time between when you leveled past 39 and the current date. For level 50, I would average out maybe 1-2 months time limit of rewind. So if you find a GM willing to delevel him, theyll only rewind him to a maximum of where he was at 2 months ago.

I have a level 50 Mage And he has a Vanilla Title.. so i dont just wanna make a new mage.. i want him... So do you think I could possible find a GM that would delevel him to 39? I want this SO Badly :(

Deleveling is something that almost every GM will tell you is impossible.

There are a few recorded incidents that a GM actually performed something like this.

Myself, my gf'd 39 war dinged to 40 and I tried to get him deleveled.
Sadly they said it was impossible. It took me maybe half a year before I found a gm who was willing to move my gf'd gear to a lvl 1 alt war; but only 2 items(helm of exile and mallet of zf).

Anothet incident was a twink was doing wargame bgs, which requires your xp on. He logged off for the night and his account was hacked. The hacker moved his twink to a different server/faction while his xp was on; and dinged when he entered the new zone. Luckily for him, blizzard always keeps a copy of your character before a transfer takes place. So when the gm fixed the hackers dmg to the account,, the gm managed to delevel him in the process due to the circumstances.

My original 60 dinged 61 while running to turn off xp. I had a GM delevel me by one level. However, the only way it was possible was them totally resetting my character back to my original realm (I had transferred earlier that week), and putting everything back to normal. Cool thing was, I emptied his bags prior to being moved back to the original realm, which resulted them in duplicating everything I had in my bags prior to the transfer..hence me having so many stam lenses and rare twink items on AP 2 years ago. It's possible, but like Chantale said, specific things would have to take place in order for a GM to actually do this for you.

I was trying to get a GM to help me with a gf'ed 29 that I accidentally dinged recently and it seems to be something they can't do anymore. I referenced a certain 19 who had their grandfathered gear moved to a new toon and tried to get the GM to do this for me too, but they said that their policies have changed and they won't do this anymore.

Also, I found that if I put in a ticket with this request specifically, the GMs would usually send me some nonsense form letter. So the best way to speak with a GM about this is to put in a ticket for a simple problem, for which they will usually talk with you in-game, and then get them when they say "Is there anything else I can do for you tonight?". :p

Sorry, but this is pretty much impossible. Even when GMs were doing their job correctly it wasnt possible. The only way you could get deleveled is if they have a really recent save of your character somewhere (before ur char lvled). For example, if you just transfered to an other server and then leveled they could possibly reset the transfer which will restore your old character that was on your previous server which means all progression youve done on the character after the transfer will be removed (so u kinda get "delvld" in a way). Some similar methods can be used if you get hacked.

It happened once with no save. Sanitariums hunter was deleveled from 40 to 39

I am doubting that they would. What a Game Master does is rewind your character - and this is usually only something like 5 levels from what I have heard. But you would then most probably lose your title also - which in itself is a major loss.
Seeing as the titles are now shared I think it best you create a new Mage on that same account and faction and then also level your 50 (unless want to keep it there) to... say 60 twink?

Vanilla titles arnt Shared

This isn't true. Scarab Lord is a shared title once you hit 60. :D

I remember Sanitarium's hunter. He was on an epic mount in the 39 bracket. So OP!
The title isn't shared, unless that has recently changed.

They only 'delevel' as a way to fix an account compromise. You have to have been hacked and then leveled before they'll even consider it.
