5.2 Misconceptions

Unfortunately a lot of people think that everyone is the same as a level 24 was pre 5.2 just because it says 24 when you mouse over. There's still a big difference between actual level and having the effective level of 24 in the bgs. I blacked out the name of the person who said this so as to not make this an @ thread and it's not meant as a thread against 24's. It's a thread pointing out that f2p players aren't really 24's which some people are apparently forgetting. Still don't have the spells, gear, or enchants that p2p 24's have. The gap has shrunk but it's still there. I'm surprised how many people have said things like this in bg's.

Edit: figured we could get something more from this thread than this. What are some other common misconceptions with 5.2 that you're running into?

I've tried some games in that bracket over the last couple days, and my addons still show people at their real level. Aside from that, there's a bug preventing secondary stats from BoAs as being counted on your character sheet until you take off all your gear then put it back on.

Well you need to use a spell or ability after taking off heirlooms before putting them back on for it to work , at least on my druid .
