Strong healers in PvE 70 bracket

So I know priests are pretty strong overall, disc that is. Not sure about holy.

Resto shaman I know does ok if played well

Holy paladins don't seem to do exceedingly well until about 80 with their mastery.

And lastly druids seem to do well overall but with a well play disc priest, depending on the encounter I don't think they'll be able to put out much, but they do compliment well.

So my question comes down to, what in order from 1 to 5, 1 being the highest & 5 being the lowest would you consider the best specs for PvE healing in 70 raids. Excluding mistweaver monks

Well it really depends on the fight in all honesty, in terms of actual healing, Druid > Resto shaman > Paladin > Disc

But with the utility of shields, and including other useful things each brings i would probably say Druid > Disc > Rshaman > Paladin.

Holy priest is also very strong with aoe heals, but the mana regen is a bit of a nightmare.

If there were more than 1 healer, i would take a good rdruid over a good disc any day of the week.

Just addressing this: Holy paladin mastery doesn't become a good stat to stack til 85ish, because at 80 health pools vs damage/heal sizes are too close. it has a cap.

However, that was basically off-topic.

Ok, yeah I wasn't sure about either rdruid, priest, or paladin. I ended up going priest

I'm a recent-hit level 70 Restoration Druid, I was 3/5 Resto Brutal and 2/5 Balance Brutal, all other equipment was Brutal Restoration and in duels I've only lost against a Spriest that was BiS'd, Disc Priest (same as before, also BiS'd) and a Hunter - nearly BiS, using all pet buffs he can (summoning pets, quickly dismissing them after using their buff spell and then switching to the next one). So I think Restoration Druids seem to do fairly well.

Well I was kinda asking for a PvE standpoint, but thank you anyways. I don't pvp really at all

I'm not one for PvE but with the massive overhealing i think classes that rely heavily on direct heals are somewhat fucked. So paladins and resto shamans mostly. Any overhealing is wasted so it seems to me classes with hots and shields will perform best. So yeah Rdruid and Disc imo, not sure which is best.

A rdruid will probably last longer but a disc has more throughput (i think).

It's funny how no one has mentioned monks yet, i have no clue how they fit into this.
