Can one get an 85 high enough in arch to get that spear? Just making sure before I waste my time, I don't have MOP

Just addressing this whilst I see it. Why the fuck wouldn't you gem the best stat available on any class?

cause its not? Armor is very high in twink brackets that contain gear from a exp in advance. He is better off gemming crit or str for output then pvp power. Any melee should have 60% resil MIN. Any sun-lute player have 65% MIN. pvp power isn't even best for most casters for output because mastery/haste is a lot for beneficial.

TL;DR he has sun-lute he should just gem resil.

I could be mistaken but you have 80 twinks. That entire is based around 1 shotting people. I guess its what your used to.

Why? You've not given any reason to say that static stats provide more than a stat that increases your damage by a %. At 90, PvP power is worth it over str unless you get a big buff (like unholy).

PvP power boosts damage at the end of an expansions curve by more than str or even crit.

lets a random well-geared 85 mage
Watdoithave @ Mannoroth - Community - World of Warcraft

28% armor
'
lets take well geared 90 mage

Deepinu @ Kel'Thuzad - Community - World of Warcraft

5% less armor.

Shaman

Stronkdorf @ Frostmourne - Community - World of Warcraft
55% armor

Kollektiv @ Tichondrius - Community - World of Warcraft

47.5% armor.

shall i go on class by class?????

I can break out a calc.exe and make a 800 character post that goes 100x more into detail.
Physical classes damage is gimped at 85.
Gemming output in general is retarded for 85 warriors. Gem resil.

PvP Power shits on every other stat.

Resil allows you to outplay people and not cut it 50/50 on who one shots who.

I can't imagine why i would gem pvp power at 85 for any class honestly. And since PVP power in linear it only does well at idiotic levels like 50%+.

Going to get something to eat. Reply or not idc ill prolly check this again.

What does armor have to do with anything?

I can break out a fucken calc.exe and make a 800 character post that goes 100x more into detail but you are not worth the time.
Neither are you, but here we are.

Tell that to any melee with either arpen attacks or magic damage (all of them)

Resil allows you to outplay people and not cut it 50/50 on who one shots who.
There is only a small window of difference.

How? And why would a linear % increase only be good at really high levels?
Going to get something to eat. Reply or not idc ill prolly check this again. Retarded Europeans always argue with me on ti forums.

And you wonder why that is. I'm just going to go ahead and report your post because you're acting like a damn 12 year-old.

Stats that increase your damage by a percent (PvP Power, Crit, Haste, Mastery for some classes) become more valuable with a stronger weapon.

The following are based on just the Sun-Lute's base dps. If you included strength from gear, the value of PvP power would rise even more.
50 PvP Power = 0.632% damage = 25.01 dps
50 Strength = 100 attack power = 7.14 dps

It doesn't matter how much armor or resillience the target has, both those numbers will decrease by the same proportion (in other words, PvP power will remain on top).

60% + DefStance 25%, more then enough!

Didnt read most of that but two questions now lol:

1) Do I need MOP to survey the area for the spear?

2) Unrelated but how's the 90 bracket currently?

Deleting some of the angry posts and replies. Please don't mix insults into discussions, really not necessary.
