I just spent 5 hours writing a 3,000 word 19 Arms Warrior guide. I was so happy that is was finished, and when I liked preview post, it took me to the log in screen, and I made sure that I was logged in when I posted so this WOULD NOT HAPPEN. I logged in and EVERYTHING was gone. The only thing left was the title. I do not know why it logged me out, but I am never writing another guide on here again. So the timeouts should be looked into, but I'm done.

Probably could have hit back button until you were back to before you hit preview, should have still been there.

That's a really frustrating thing to happen. I'm very sorry your effort got lost.

If you ever feel up to trying again you could write the guide in a text editor, that's what I did for the few long posts I've written. And when on TI make sure you've checked the remember me button before logging in.

If you don't check the box the timeouts are pretty short to ensure that the site doesn't slow down. :/
