As someone on my server said, this movie will either be very good or very bad. Only those two options.
I'm looking forward to it, but Blizz has backed out of movies so many times. BUT... Blizzard so far has invested over 100 million dollars so far, chose a director, some actors, etc. I think they're going balls out with this one.
I won't judge it until I see more or when it comes out, really. I have high hopes though, since out of all the famous directors they picked, they picked the good one, compared to Michael Bay, who'd ruin WoW just like my beloved Transformers...
Source Code was an amazing movie and I've heard Moon was awesome too. The point is, this director knows his stuff. Blizzard wants to give us an awesome movie, and they'll try to do just that.
(Also, just for future reference, this movie isn't CGI since it takes half a year to almost a full year to make those CGI clips every expansion, so they are making this live action. As long as it doesn't look like costumes or cos-players, I'll be satisfied with the characters.)
2015 is going to be an awesome year. Avatar 2, Warcraft, Marvel movie, and so on. Like, five different potentially great movies. You don't see that kind of lineup often.
