I don't think it's a big deal, but that comes from someone with an AGM lol.

At most, people should be allowed to equip it. Using it's "use ability" shouldn't be allowed if ppl have issues with it. TBH I don't even want to use my AGM. I won't have it equipped :p
 
I want to see games last longer but I dont want games to come down heavily on gear. People that earned should be able to use it but on the other hand its a 15 minute CD and shouldnt be allowed in arena just like LoHs, Soulstones, ect.
 
Personally I think the cooldown AND equipping it should be banned, and this is coming from someone who has it. I think the focus should be on strategy, not on how many p2p's you knew/how much free time you were able to spend in order to get an AGM.
 
First of all, I'm a resto shaman so my opinion should be slightly more objective since AGM doesn't matter too much to my team with purge.

AGM is a crutch and it's as simple as that. In no way at all would this be a primarily skill based tournament if it's on use effect were to be allowed. 3000 extra damage would be needed on the side of a non agm'd team vs a fully agm'd team but that wouldn't even be the biggest problem. Many comps are going to rely heavily on setting up cc chains, timing drs and timing burst while enemy trinkets are down. To have a long build up process countered entirely by pressing one button is absolutely retarded. Not to mention, allowing agm's on use would also completely discourage EU rerolls or other rerolls in order to set up more/different comps.

The truth is everyone can get AGM. I can get it cross server in a few days (I'm P2P) for myself and my whole team if I wanted but that's not the point. There's a reason in Official Blizzard tournies they play on the tournament realm (where everyone has the same gear options) and not their own characters (whose gear is based simply on how much time you've invested). It encourages a skill based environment where everyone is on equal footing.

missclicked yes. I agree with everyone else, remove AGM even without the use effect, to balance gear as much as possible.

Disallow AGM's plox. And I haz one. It's just straight up gamechanging.

And should also make everyone use Sporid Cape's. Just so Swag gets on par.
 
I think it should be allowed if the tournament takes place in 5.2, as there will be an alternative defensive cd trinket with better passive mitigation. Gearing shouldn't even be considered. There isn't even a date set on the tournament, so there's probably time for anyone to get any gear. As for the CD being too broken for 3s in 5.1... well I think that's bs. There's enough burst and control in this bracket to deal with an AGM if it's a last-ditch effort, and all the burst and control abilities in this bracket are on really short cooldowns so it's not like you won't have another chance really soon to line up another burst in the event your first shot got spoiled by a bubble. It's just another trinket for your team to call out when someone uses it. Not that big a deal. Also, the argument that an AGM can't be used tactically and is just a save-all crutch is also pretty bogus. It is absolutely a cd you can plan around and make plays off of if you're able to manipulate your opponents positionally.
 
I feel like AGM shouldn't be allowed in general just because other re-rolls won't be able to get it , or certain people without p2p assistance. AGM just discourages many people too not even participate. Everyone deserves a fair shot.
 
I haven't seen any patch notes either, a few people have been saying they're adding an on use Hp trinket with resil on it.This would be way better then agm considering how resil scales nowa days .
