Guardian Druids :

  • Thick Hide now works with attacks, not just melee attacks.
Now part of the passive reduces melee attack critical chance by 6%
but in 5.2 it will reduce critical chance by 6% from all attacks !

Rogues :

  • Kick no long costs any energy !

Won't cost 10 energy anymore.

Update: Went on the PTR, tried to mog my staff to a polearm. FAILED. CANNOT EQUIP POLEARMS.

This is disheartening news, as it confirms my biggest fears about 5.2. Although there will changes to the way weapon mogging works (axes/maces/swords can be cross-mogged, and staves/polearms as well), you must be able to equip both weapon types.

I can only hope that this change had not yet been implemented on the PTR, and that when 5.2 actually hits I'll still be able to be a polearm-wielding priest. However, hope is dim.

Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge - Item - World of Warcraft will become a one-handed weapon and thus will be useable in the off-hand slot. It's not considered a unique item so it will be possible to equip 2 of these swords.

Do you know anything about the Reaver as well? Fury Warriors still have no Loom-Offhand ._.

To give some update to people who didn't know yet:

Flamescarred Draconian Deflector and Weathered Observer's Shield will be added in 5.2 - these are new heirloom (BoA) shields which will offer players to chose other items from quest which they formerly had to ignore because of BiS-ness, or be used for transmogrification purposes - the first shield will be the "tank" shield, yielding 4 stam 3 strength and 3 parry at level 20 (source: WoWDB - PTR - open to changes), the latter shield will be the "caster/healer" shield, yielding 4 stam 3 intellect and 3 spirit at level 20 (source: WoWDB - PTR - open to changes) - nothing is known about how much armor they will have

Priest :

Discipline and Holy priest get new talent Spiritual Healing which increases their healing by 43% .
As Izac mentioned overall Flash heal is going to be the same as before for holy/disc, it will just be 30% less for shadow.

Displacer Beast has been redesigned. It now triggers Cat Form and grants 50% increased movement speed for 4 seconds after teleporting, and no longer activates Prowl.

Stone Bulwark Totem now absorbs 25% more damage.

Guys, seriously, is that all you can do? Just NOT read what I'm typing with my own two hands? Ignoring what this thread's purpose is? Didn't expect You both to be so ignorant, especially as I already told Dasha not to derive...

no one cares what you type. what ever made you think they would? maybe if you did it in a better manner people might. not me ofc, but i'm sure some people.

rules are like pie crust, made to be broken. <3

I'm gonna say this once before I ask Yde to remove my posts in here but please, never try to converse with me again - whoever you are, you've now officially got the achievement of making me regret I ever wanted to try to help improve this community

/cheers to you, random annoyance

You can now earn bonus reputation for your first dungeon and scenario of the day. You can select which reputation you choose to champion by selecting it from the reputation panel on the character screen. When you queue for a dungeon or scenario, the UI will remind you which reputation you are championing and allow you to change the reputation from there. (You cannot change that reputation once you are in the dungeon or scenario.)
Hope it means we should be able to get some nice titles/tabards with LFG !

no, it's srsbsns. ;)

Anyway, Fujin0, I applaud your effort at trying to maintain an informative thread. Although your attempts to keep it pure, I believe are an excersise in futililty. People are going to post in the active threads no matter what you say.

What I would suggest is making a thread in the style of a guide — like one class per page, and another few pages on resereve for gear, quest updates and such. One could then make edits to the original pages as more info comes in on the PTR notes. That way, all the important information will be up front, and up to date, while still allowing for the usual forum jibber-jabber on the subsequent pages.
