How good is this bracket? (Or how bad)

Rather dissapointing, was looking forward to rolling a monk now but it seems like its not worth it

It basically died when 40% baseline resil was introduced.

I don't see how mindlessly grinding out drops or getting honor/JP for gear is somehow better than spending gold.

I've got many people asking for my return to the game, especially this bracket. I play Boomkin, have done for 8 years. What are your thoughts on them right now? I played for around 10 days or so during the start of Mists, they seemed OK. You all seem to be hating on Hybrid classes, are we that OP? Am I going to be flamed for playing one? "Only high because of OP class" etc etc.

I will play devils advocate here and say the bracket is fun. Most people who twink want to play a character class that requires enough skill that others don't make fun of them for playing an OP class. The bracket is full of fotm because fotm doesn't require any skill. Spriest, Ppallies, Rshaman and Rdruids are OP, but classes such as Fmage, (Bm,S,M)hunter, Bdruid, Pwar, (S,A)rogue, and maybe Bdeathknight are all much MUCH better then the fotm classes when played by a skilled player using BIS gear with a good partner in 2s. for instance, on Rampage (illidan's Battlegroup) the three top Arena players are an AssnRogue/Disc Priest, BMHunter/BDruid, and FMage/Spriest (yeah i included a fotm Spriest, but it's with a FMage ....

Warlocks, Warriors, and Monks haven't Impressed me. But there are good ones out there, their class just sucks for arena's atm. I will say Devilaangel a prot warrior impressed me with his threes team the other day... But we didnt play enough for me to consider anything more then listing him. I was talking about good players on Rampage, sure that comp is #1 , and sure they are fotm, but my point was to advocate for the other classes in the bracket. I think that 5.2 is just going to make things worse for fotm classes like spriest, ppallies, and rshaman, I just enjoy the bracket so much I refuse to see it ruined. Hence why i play a WW monk.
