Is bladefury worth the 20% energy regeneration loss to be effective?

Ability to hit multiple enemies could be neat.

I use it all the time. Definitely worth it. It's not about damage it's about utility. Keeping enemy healer on their toes.

Hmmm. *looks at raid ui* Who should I heal. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Healers tend to make a mistake under pressure. Be that pressure.

You should try EN shaman. I rolled one a day ago;

A great class if you like destroying 24 shadow priests.
Not to mention nothing says pressure like watching an underplayed class/spec chase a resto druid across the map that's running for his life and probably crapping himself because he's used to facerolling through BG's.

En shamans are the definition of pressure :D

Yeah that's the only spec I haven't played since MoP arrived. I was told they hit like a wet noodle but have gamechanging utility.

Actually I usually get in the top 5 in damage. It's all about staying on your target. 60% of your damage is magic damage and it scales well. You just have to stack Crit>Agility and expect to visit the graveyard again but that doesn't take away from the class experience. In just the past 20~ hours I've found the class very viable as far as both damage and utility go (most people have rough experiences with new classes in the first day or so of playtime) so I'm looking forward to when I get even better at it.

I'll stop derailing though! Back to le rogues.

i faced you yesterday on the resto. purge spam is good pressure when the enh isn't alone, but when he is it's a joke. also, you interrupted my regrowth within the first second of the cast when I was at 100% hp :p i didn't know that was you at the time, so i wanted to see if this shammy would be hard to fake

I'm easy to fake cast in general because I've been playing mostly Warrior/Prot/Lock the past 2 years. Warrior charge has a min range so it's hardly an interrupt and Avenger's shield is a blanket so I don't necessarily use it to interrupt but to keep classes without buffs/hots from gaining buffs/hots.

Not used to playing a class that has an available interrupt, but you're right and hopefully I'll get better!

I try not to get caught alone because En Shams are only really viable in group situations, I've just been pugging because I'm new to the class and not about to waste a premade slot when I'm not skill capped with it yet.

Thanks for the constructive criticism.

Multi target pressure is only good for distracting people who can't actually heal or making life even more miserable for poor MW monks. Without mana issues, competent healers are free to overheal to their heart's content, blanketing rejuv/PW:S or spamming quick heals with no worries.

Key words though - "distracting people who can't actually heal" - I'd say its viable!

I'am hoping its viable, doting everything up with druid multibox hope its worth the investment.
