Hello, and welcome to 'The Remaining' 's guild recruitment thread.
A brand new Alliance guild situated on the largest 60 realm EU: The Sha'tar. We had decided about creating it on The Sha'tar because it already has the largest 60 guild in the whole of Europe on it (Deck Me Out), and in the past when people had created low level guilds on PvP servers they were constantly ganked by higher levels in everything they did; be it duels, or gurubashi arena etc. We decided to keep the 60 alliance side as close together as possible so we will be playing along side 300-500 more 60 twinks on The Sha'tar which will be awesome!
"Why would you make a 60 guild on The Sha'tar when there is already the largest 60 guild EU on there?"
- Simple. It has been said many a time that Deck Me Out is more pve orientated that pvp. This thread is in no ways talking bad about Deck Me Out at all, because they have done a fantastic job for the sake of the 60 bracket for years, but the guild as a whole hasn't got enough passion towards pvp so 'The Remaining' will be purely based on this aspect of the 60 bracket.
"What makes you think that you can get xp off Bgs active when many before you have tried?"
- We do not expect at all that 'The Remaining' to get even 1/5 of the numbers that guilds such as 'Thunderfury' or 'Deck Me Out' have, I want to make it known that this guild's sole purpose will be to try and condense twink efforts of queuing Bgs into a single guild. We only need 10 active alliance players and 10 horde players to get a BG to pop, so this is in no ways a rediculous project.
As the guild was created yesterday, we have very minimal players in the guild at the time of this post. The guild has been set up by me (Csi @ The Sha'tar - Community - World of Warcraft) and a good friend (Honoured @ The Sha'tar - Community - World of Warcraft, being one of his characters). I want those reading to cast any doubts they may have about this project aside; this is a real project, by experienced and geared players who have experienced many years of the bracket. In Cataclysm, when i actively played the 70 bracket, i was the officer one of the biggest and well known alliance guilds during its time, including being one of the first 70 guilds to take part in Rated Battlegrounds, and also created the recruitment thread for that guild too - so we do know what we are doing
As far as the guild goes, we have 6 bank tabs at the moment which gear/enchants/reagents/ for all sorts of 60 endeavours including:
Tab 1: View attachment 1064
Tab 2: View attachment 1065
Tab 3: View attachment 1063
The kind are members we are looking for are geared (where possible) and commited players. This is no way a 'bracket revival' thread, althought we are looking for a decent amount of active players who will que Bgs when they are scheduled. Because we want to experience PvP, rules such as no gem gear (particularly resilience) will be put in place so the games aren't boring prot warriors tanking 5 people through second wind and then nobody wants to que up again. I am sure i'm not the only one who wants xp off Bgs back
Death Knights will not be allowed in the guild. This corresponds with Deck Me Out's rules. We already have a lot of interest with several players realm xfering in the near future including well known names from the 70 bracket! I also have players who have stated via real ID that they will not be willing to xfer but they would like to take part in any event we host in the future, which is more than acceptable.
Along side our aim of creating and maintaining constant xp off bgs, we also chill outside Stormwind where we actively duel and in the past 2 days alone we have had a few 2v2 wargames, and a small gurubashi FFA event
Note: This guild has no affiliations with Deck Me Out, nor we have any intentions on 'stealing' any members. This guild is for players who enjoy pvp and want to work towards pvp oriented goals.
There is hope and potential, we need only grasp it.
If anyone has any question or wants to get in contact with me add _ mustard#2996 _ or of course reply to this thread.
Stay tuned!
