Max Ambush?

Okay so we know that Talon of Vultros is BiS for max ambush in 15-19 bracket because of the slow 2.0 speed.

Well I was thinking the same thing for 20-24 bracket and came across Flesh Piercer - Item - World of Warcraft. Compare to Bangalash's Claw - Item - World of Warcraft it is only 2-3 less white damage, but with added agility/AP I think it's BiS.

Could anyone test this out?

For anyone who would say how is it BiS if it has 2-3 less white damage, its because of the agility / AP added on where the big difference comes in. Take Talon of Vultros - Item - World of Warcraft. for example. It has 3.9-6.1 less white damage (much bigger difference than the ones are 24) compared to loom dagger, yet it has more topend with enough AP

P.S. Sadly it seems that the dagger doesn't drop anymore :(

I think you've missread... Flesh Piercer is a 2.0 speed weapon meaining it would be BiS for main hand not off hand...

Edit: How did you get the dagger? did you already have one or something? its GFed as far as im aware

How is it better...? Proof please

If you use the same logic of Talon of Vultros on this dagger, in theory it would be better

Could you please tell the exact numbers with Flesh Piercer MH Blackvenom Blade OH and STV dagger + Blackvenom blade?

I'm quite curious on how big of a difference it has

Thanks for the confirmation that its BiS but when you say..

Btw both items have poison can proc u out of stealth. Just FYi :)

what do you exactly mean? If your going to ambush your going to leave stealth anyways? Unless it can proc off saps, I don't see any harm in using them

Tested - if u go with banglash on main hand and flesh piercer i find it to do very well. but its not better than blackvenom. Slower weapon speed cant out perform 8 agility loss. i was surprised on the findings. I would have thought it would out perform blackvenom.

my prefrence is blackvenom still for max ambush in offhand

youre so dumb selfproclaimed#1rogue4life

as far as i know, the damage range on your char table considered speed, and it is only usable for auto attack. when calculating spell damage, a standardized weapon speed will be used in place of the real speed. that means daggers with max dps*real spead is the best.
