Hey guys, i quit just before mop came out due to uni work and shit ruining my life but now im back but still not playing too actively, anyway, ive got my main (priest) at 90 who ive played from the beginning so going to stick with that, but was also thinking of keeping my dk 85 and twinking it... at the moment its got BiS cata gear

my questions are.
1) is 85 twinking alive?
2) is there any MoP gear i should be aware of?
3) if anyone knows anyone who is the leading head in the 85 twinking scene please can you let me know their name/how to contact them

Hey man, here is what I got for ya:

1) Yes, at least for the moment. A lot of people have not yet purchases MoP so the queues are pretty active, mostly 85s with some annoying 87s/89s thrown in.
2) Yes again, definitely. There are some good boe's to pick up, ESPECIALLY WEAPONS.
3) Ummm, idk.

This is my 85: Tightly @ Burning Legion - Community - World of Warcraft

I would suggest a mix of Cataclysmic Glad gear, maybe the 4/5 or 5/5 set (It is currently un-obtainable but will be back in 5.1) and MoP BoE's for maxed stats.
That's what I'm using right now and I wreck.

P.S. On the risk of unleashing another of you fucks on the world, a mastery stacked Blood DK is impossible to kill.
 
Bg queues at 85 with locked is approx 5-15min Wait time. Mostly you Will face bots with 100k hp, and then one or two 85twinks with 200k hp+ as dps. My personal advice for you as DK is to go full PvE (mop bop and boe gear) because the pvp gear does not help at all. My dk got full pve gear and i 3shot resistackef 85's. If i'd use pvp gear I wouldn't even be able to get a resistacked down to 80%.



For the PVE part of dks: they're godlike. Soloing ZG Bosses with 170k dps as frost, soloing almost all raids as blood etc

The queues are with XP off - arena queues are between 2-8 minute pop @ 2's.

I haven't bothered to level up Arch another time (600 on my main which is on another server) so I have not had the oppertunity to try the Polearm out.

It's easier if you don't train archeology past 525. Just stay capped at 525 and dig in Jade Forest. It won't take long to get and plus in the new patch, you can upgrade it with justice points.
 
Is the 463 staff for 85 PVP better than the 450 mace considering you can upgrade it with justice points? Not just for dk, but for other classes like ret paladin. Is the strength loss worth it?
 
I'm sorry to necro this thread - it's just that I don't have permission yet to make my own thread. I'm interested in making a level 85 DK twink for soloing. With the changes to enchants in 5.4, which ones should I use? Thank you!
