    • Hi everyone,

    i'm thinking about making a new toon EU.

    How are battlegrounds at the moment?

    Are queuing times nearly equal horde/ally?

    Is any fraction superior or is it kind of balanced?

    Maybe anybody with EU and US toons can give a short comparsion?

    Any impression is welcome.

    Hello, Yes EU I think has increasingly unbalanced battlegrounds but I can give you a general overview.

    EU is a nice friendly server with (many noobs joining Bgs) and a fair amount of 24's

    -The deal is in EU the side which queues the fast personally I can say horde at average ~3mins, when ally can go up to about ~10min or less. This applies to dungeons as well.
    -Horde wins approximately 80% of the time in WSG and the same applies to AB.
    -If you looking for a stronger toon, gear wise do ally (Stockade) especially AGI users and Holypala. If you going for fast looms and a fair amount of 24 Spriests join horde.
    -Some servers I suggest for the community of twinking would be Draenor and Aggrammar, looking for fast AGN go a Rppvp or an RP server, preferably Ravenholdt or Sporreggar.

    Personally I would do both, Ally has a friendlier community because it is small and concentrated and Horde you can get a bunch of douchebags and shout at you for being a noob (sometimes), but you win more bgs.

    Obviously my post is completely biased because I used to play Horde A LOT but I've got my fair share of ally knowledge enjoy! :D
    P.S If you could tell me what server you will be at I will be fine to help you with 'stuff' Agm and what not, for the rest, DONT JOIN FULL SERVERS :p!!!

    thanks a lot for you're quick overview.

    I'm originally from EU (Germany) but used to play 99% US. I have some toons created in EU too but not really played them.

    I would level my existing toons on Malygos/EU as this used to be my home server with p2p account. Maybe i will check the rp servers.

    Do you also have toons US? If so would you recommand playing US or EU?

    Nope, haven't played US at all just EU but I believe the situation is the same, unless you enjoy queueing with random Russian people.
     
    You can roll wherever you want and still melt faces in bg´s since Horde EU is that good...except for some random bullshit games like 4 alliance 24´s and the Horde still most likely wins. I wish US groups would step up, but won´t unfortunately.

    Seems like for rollin Alliance you should be a bit masochistic. Longer queue, more people with bad gear and no plan how to play a bg, less 24's.

    Newermind, i'm just leveling and old toon on Alliance.

    EU has lvl 20 pugs on horde who utterly crush ally premades or perhaps even do better than AP premades ever did. If i roll US, it will probably be alliance since horde is so infested with baddies over there.

    This is true. We once crushed half a 24 Magtheridon premade. To sum it up ally= If your narcissistic. Horde= Enjoy killing noobles
