Why did you start 80-84 twinking?

personally i was tired in cata of getting raped by GOD comp as RMP, so when we lost gladiator rating i just went mental and rolled an 80 mage stacked mastery and had a blast

Got tired of the endless gear grinding treadmill known as end-game, so started twinking (many years ago). I like to feel my time / effort / gold is being invested in a character and won't become worthless a patch or 2 down the line.

I began with 19 twinks and have twinked at 1, 15, 24, 59, 60, 65, 68, 69 and 70 since then. Eventually I settled on 80 due to the overpowered stats (mastery <3) and the vast amount of quality PvE content (4 tiers, 10 & 25 mans, heroic modes, hardmodes, achievements).

started twinking at 19, was tired of inbalanced no skill people jsut throwing leg enchants on a random toon and facerolling, so i quit for a while. then cata came along. i always liked 80 content, and mastery was a plus. so i rolled my 80 pally, had too much fun so i started rolling all kinds of 80s

I did 80's mainly because I didn't have cata for the longest time. Then when I did I realized how much better wotlk was then cata. I enjoyed wotlk endgame, so I decided to stay with 80's. Plus I like the damage for PvE, and PvP can be fun at times. <<< (don't want to get off topic)

My EU account had been hacked since may this year and blizzard required a scanned pic of a valid ID for me to get it back which i couldn't afford at the time, so a friend from irc offered me a battlechest in the US in return that we level some toons. I couldn't afford to upgrade above TBC (old battlechest), so i was stuck on 70. There i 70 twinked a hunter and priest and had more fun in those 1-2 months before MoP than i've had in a good 2-3 years at max level. I was in love with twinking.

Someone on bnet official forums mentioned this site and i registered and checked it out. MoP hit and suddenly there was these insane items showing up on the AH, so i checked the 80-89 bracket on here and found this thread. It looked like awesome fun, 80's had mastery and all which i hadn't tried before, so i copied the 81 BS/LW resto sham and had THE most fun ever. But i couldn't join 80 only raids or do arena on him so i decided to level him to 90. Yeah. That plan didn't last long. My highest level toon is 88 and he ain't going nowhere either. I think i'm making the shammy 84 or 85 instead because i'm having too much fun twinking to play max level.
