Activity in the bracket has not been the same that it was late cata. I recently made a 24 and have seen a lot of others rerolling to that bracket for faster queue times and to smash the f2ps. I tend to think that these are the 19s darkest days, as I do not see competitive games very often anymore. The pugs are more lost than ever and games tend to be boring. We did have one good game tonight with a pug vs Train Cow, but its not the same.

It really makes me miss cata, and I hope that we will see strong guilds on both horde and alliance in the near future.

So that leads me to the question: What was your favourite expansion to twink 19s in?

WOTLK was the best.

Hmm...No ENTIRE expansion have had me thinking .. this is THE best!. They all had some good times and some bad times. Some expansions more, than others. :)

Vanilla were to Undergorund for me ^^.. it was there I first noticed the fact that low lvl bg's had some rly strong players(twinks).. but it was to early for me:)

TBC, was the best twinking time for me prolly if not overall wow time.. due to only one fact that, this was the time I rly started playing twinking my self, and getting gear.. exploring the gamea dn learning new stuff, building a guild, getting known in the battlegroup through forums etc. However, the state of overall twinking I'm not sure about?

WOTLK, was the time I started explore the "world" and migrated to other populated twink realms trying my "skills" out ;) - Over all I actually think this was when the twinking scene shined the most.

Cata - Was okay as well tbh, exept the fact, a lot of the players I played with quit, or became less active. My image of who and what was best changed much in this expansion. Also.. I rly liked to build up the guild with lvls and and achievements.

Mop - Seems like one of the "worser" time (if that's even a word xD ), but it still have some good, like oldies comming back and more survival compared to cata. ^^

I think I will throw my vote in WOTLK's direction.

yea I think Wotlk had the best balance of people's understanding of the game and it still being new/fun.

Personally, from a healer perspective.. I absolutely adored the fast paced burst that Cata had to offer. I liked the emphasis it had on timing and positioning. You were punished severely for small mistakes/hesitations and prehealing was a must. I played enough to a point where I knew exactly where the damage was going and how much.
Midfights were soo much fun, I know a lot of people hated it but I loved the focus targets and hard switches... and watching your fc. If you didn't want a midfight, plenty of pugs split o and d.

And now most mop games are no different from doing random bgs at level 90, except with a 10 -20 minute wait lol=]. I think (hope) that it will pick up a bit down the road. QQ.

This is actually why I had a hard time deciding on this poll. I didn't do many arenas at 19 during cata and midfights were meh but wargames at f2p were some of the best games I've ever had and forced me to play really well with a low margin for error. Now when I log on hamcake the games just seem so dull and mop's complete lack of emphasis on mana removed a major facet of being a good healer.

Anything pre 4.0. Before people hit and healed for ungodly amounts. Before there were an ungodly amount of stuns/slows/fears for each class. Before the skillcap on fcing got nerfed hard and the dependency on healers increased. When druid fcs actually needed bandages to survive. Yes those times did exist where a druid fc couldnt smash 3buttons and be full health. When pals could use BoF and jump like gods. Back when you could jump charges and roots.. ETC. Ive always liked my mobility and every patch that limits it pushes me away. I like the mobility of druids in MoP but the xpac is far from the best. It was just something that drew me back to the twinking land.

This here, I agree one hundred percent.
