glancealot the lancealot

there once was a twink named glancealot,
on the forums he did prance a lot,
by his claim, a noob he was not,
for he could feel no shame.

in posting the most incredulous things,
every post that he makes rings,
of the sounds of 24 dings,
for the imbalance he took no blame.

people tried to sway him away,
from the ires brought on by his play,
to make a f2p we did say,
for 24s are quite lame.

but with resilience, he did quote,
that he would persist in fighting for the rote,
while we all said that what he gloats,
would all be in vain!

Re: F2Ps accuse 24s for crutching? give me a break.

"WoW is an online MMO, like other MMOs, it is played by people whose average income level is below minimum wage, whose average education level is less than high school.

so you see, most friends that you make through WoW are people that you would never want to associate yourself with in real life, at least, that is the case for me."

That's the poetry of /ignore.

a clear misstep in stereotyping, but i'll forgive him for it. we all know even in WoW there are friends to be made

I don't like the @ part but you get a like for making me hear Sir Robin the Brave in my head. ^^

the poem is actually beautifully written.

although i don't really like it that much, somehow.

It's a nice one. :)

i am usually spot on when it comes to judging characters.

one of the following three applies to you

1, you have a university degree

2, you are into reading and have read a lot of books

p.s. you probably didn't notice that i listed 2 items when i said "one of the following three", because you don't like numbers.

people who write poems usually turn out to hate numbers.
...

Did you perhaps pick up a book called "Common Stereotypes" in your youth? And did you go on to construct your world view around the information found within, mistakenly thinking it to be a guide to the inner workings of humanity? That would explain so much.

is that an oxymoron?
nosir, there have been many twinks in the past who have found their cliques, oh what wondrous times can be had on WoW with internet friends

heck, sometimes i play some LoL with some of the old 19s and 39s

i admit, stereotyping is not always right, and is probably a pathetic thing to do at times.

but a person that stereotypes is right more often than one that intentionally doesn't stereotype.

let me tell you two short stories. the other day, i went to a symphony practise at my university, i didn't see a single black person in that room.

and that same day, i craved for greasy food and went to KFC, every single customer in there (besides myself) was black!

i have nothing against black people, but people do stereotype for a reason.
