Alright so I have these two toons that were just used for max profs. It's been ages since I've played either and don't really know what to look for stat/rotation wise. The shaman is at 80, and the druid is 81. These two toons will be PvE only. Should I level the druid to 83 or 84? I figure since he's at 81, and there are quite a few upgrades available up to 83, and a couple at 84, it might be a good idea to level. I'm mainly just wanting these two toons twinked to add to the five toons I currently have soloing Ony each week.
I assume for the shaman ele would be best, but I'm not sure if boomkin or guardian is better for druid. I know their self-heals were pretty good as boomkin at one point. I honestly don't even know how either class is with soloing at these levels and if Ony is even doable. More of less I'm curious as to what to spec the druid, what level to go with it, what talents/glyphs are best, and what I should be going for stat wise as either guardian or boomkin. The same applies to the shaman in terms of stats and talents. I can fiddle with rotations on my own and figure them out. I only ever played the Shaman as enh, so ele will be completely new to me. The same thing goes with boomkin if it's better.
I looked up most of the gear available on wowhead, so I have a good idea as to what I'm going for in that regard. However I'm not entirely sure which lower armor pieces are acceptable/better to use with them. On that note, if there are any devs out there to make it a bit easier I would greatly appreciate it. As I said, some noobish questions, but I'm hoping some kind soul will help me out.
