Regardless farmed or not , don't rez , it still don't justify being a quitter /loser. Have some dayum pride.

I don't think standing around in ghost for 15 minutes is any different than watching paint dry. /yawn

In those circumstance that I do afk, It will be to switch characters and reQ.

I pretty much never /afk due to in game reasons, but there could be so many reasons for someone leaving.

E.g.:
important phone calls / messages
dogs needing to be let out
bell ringing or dogs barking and someone entering at the property gate
a meal being ready or me needing to get one ready
cats fighting
losing track of time and needing to leave for an appointment / university / work
sudden rain and needing to take in the laundry hung up outside
thunderstorm and needing to collect the animals and let down the window shutters

I AFK out of bgs depending on my mood and the state of my team.

I only have a problem with AFKers when they seem really pathetic, as in leave bg during the last 2 - 3 mins to preserve score. That just seems really sad to me.

as far as staying a ghost , if you a rogue or druid no reason to be farmed. as for others, you be surprised how bad farmer dont loot your body so u can get corpse back and get to a healing hutt. Just fyi to regular afkers , before game starts people usally say in bg chat " lets make ____ Afk out. the always afk out lol".

Who are Famous AFKers? hmmm...... I can think of a few quitters in all brackets lol These people must have alot of appointments they forgot about or endless phone calls with no speaker phone.

I'll be straight up honest with you 99.9 percent of the time i afk out on all of my characters is because if it's a 24 premade coming from CC or sanc.

Note: this has nothing to do with what my opinion is, but im a rebel yo. i derail

I love that feeling when, against all odds, you get a cap.

It might not be a winning cap. But getting a point against an Overpowered group that's so sure of itself, is awesome.

When I read the original post, I thought you were talking about the few people who afk before dying. I respect that everyone can play the way they want, but that still irks me because that's really not playing for the team the way the game was intended, and it's a little conceited.

I find that a lot of people who afk when they're losing, they do it way too quickly. It's like they're not willing to try a different strategy, or get so frustrated after the other team gets a cap that they just give out. People who afk when it's a steamroll I have no problem with. I generally don't do that, and I advocate the no-rez plan, but it's hard to hold it against someone who has something better to do.

lllyBIllyn OMG, I totally forgot i will edit the First post . i totally forgot about thoses idiots in mid combat before they die, AFK out or when your mounted and your about to charge them in Wsg. That is priceless

If we're getting farmed I'll stop ressing and go afk (literally afk not /afk), and if I get flagged and kicked so be it, I'm not sitting around for a loss. But if we're just losing in general I never really AFK out, I never have/will understand it.

--BG win/loss ratio doesn't have a direct relation to skill in any bracket in this game.
--This isn't a legitimate bracket as far as skill is required, so a win/loss ratio would be irrelevant even if it were "impressive".

I'm a full time student/dad/worker so I find myself just closing my laptop all the time regardless of what I'm doing. Not sure if that's considered "AFKing out", I'm just able to put the game down and move on to more important things when necessary.

As far as like, annoying behavior goes though, I much rather prefer people who /afk out so they keep their win/lose ratio as opposed to people like Kale, who afk out if they think they're going to die. People like that need to stop worrying about WoW joke bracket statistics and work more on their obvious underlying self esteem issues.

No offense but you're bad if you are getting farmed. I can think of like 3 ways to get out of the GY.

I never said I was good. And if you get out of the GY, what then? Do you know at least 4/10 players in the average PuG that can make it out of a farmed GY? Can't solo win the battleground with all the brain dead players in this bracket running into the piles of enemies outside of the GY.

Another example of people overestimating the player base on these forums. A majority of the people that play this game are stupid.

500!

Get the flag and dance on the glitch spot while working with professions? It's better than being camped.

You would be surprised someone grabs flags go to roof of enemy base to pull people off graveyard or hell someone goes right up rampside to pull 5-6 people from graveyard and your team gets to regroup & possibly put up a fight.

My favorite scenario, 5 - 6 people have left from your team & your getting farmed. A 24 premade group joins game to only win bg. Cuase the idiots farming you only had 1 cap & graveyard farmers are telling fc to cap flag fast.

I afk after trying to solo carry 4-5 times or solo return 4-5 times while people derp in mid or get farmed.

I always put in an honest effort but there is a point where AFKing makes sense. Like a personal AFK threshold.

I used to nevaaah afk - now - f that. I'm out. I'll even AFK if our team is holding the flag and GY farming and will not stop.

Seeing Honeybadger complain about people who afk is the greatest motivation a 20 can have to afk.
