You should really try out SWTOR. Maybe not the best endgame but awesome leveling. I should also vouch for GW2 which costs around 50 dollars and then NO subscription fee.

Otherwise there are Rift or random wow private servers out there (vanilla, tbc or wotlk ones for nostalgia purposes).
