Have you tried a google search? Something along the lines of "How to install things off the internet on my computer?"

What about just getting Skype and adding him? See the first line if this is a problem.

I installed WoW with ease but when I try to install any addons it gives me the message that I have to pay for Winzip.

Have you tried using the Curse Client? Not sure if that will solve your Winzip problems, but it make installation easier in general. Looks WinZIp is a 21-day trial. Try uninstalling WinZip and using something else to decompress it?

I have no Idea what Winzip is and how it got to my computer.

I'd suggest a new google search then, something along the lines of "opening zip files". Most operating systems should be able to do it by default (I thought it was built into Windows from XP on.) There are free unlimited programs available though. I used to use 7zip, that's probably still a good choice..

I have no Idea what Winzip is and how it got to my computer.

Even though winzip said it will expire, it never will. It's used to unzip folders. My tip to you is to download the F2P addon, then right click on the download, then hit extract to the specified folder. The specified folder would be in the WoW folder, under interface-->addons(being the final folder). Then you'll have the addon.
