Hi i made a monk twink the day pandaria came out and i'm pretty much best in slot in both mistweaver, windwalker and brewmaster. So i went to the PTR but apparently currently when you perform a character copy it copies it not onto your existing PTR account but onto a secondary one, which is being considered as not yet upgraded to MoP. Hence monks and lvl 85+ characters cannot be copied to the test realms.

I then went on to get an idea of what enveloping mist would be like comparing to soothing mist, so i made a template character on the PTR account that was accounted for as upgraded. It turns out soothing mist healed for 6k per tick and enveloping mist around 24k / sec in hc gear (13,5k SP) which is approximately 4 times as much. I then checked the formulas behind the respective abilities and it seems soothing mist only benefits from 17,9% of your SP whereas enveloping mist benefits from 66,5% . This makes it a lot harder to determine how much it's going to heal for at 19. I then went ahead and tried to figure out the relation between the base amount of healing provided by the spells, considering my spell power the base amount healed by enveloping mist would be x=(24-((0,665*13,5)/6)) = 22,5k / tick. Now for soothing mist, x=(6-((0,179*13,5)/8)) = 5,69k / tick we then find that the relation between the base healing is 1:3,95. So provided that the scaling dosen't deviate regardless of level enveloping mist will heal for (((155-(0,179*180))*3,95)+(0,665*180)) =605 / tick. Q.E.D.
