just out of curiosity why would u use those 2 rings as resto ? pretty sure water shield is enough to keep you from ever going oom . id say seal of argas and garoshes pardon would be better

Do resto shamans (or any other healers) even need something like Water Shield?

I just soulstoned into combat with like 80 mana and lasted a good amount of minutes without going oom. Mana regen is crazy.

I run with lightning. I only use water shield when I get really low on mana, which doesn't happen that often, as combat regen is ridiculous.
I never even use healing wave.
