Hey all. I haven't really did F2P ever since the first MoP pre-patch, mainly because of the massive nerf to feral druids in my eyes. Their survivability plummeted, and the new skills were sub-par, and I found myself doing less damage than usual overall, to the point I'd lose 1V1 against people who had a similar skill level to me (which hasn't happened before. It used to be 50/50, which I liked, not too OP, not too UP.) As Ferals are my favourite twinking class, I gave up F2P for a bit.
Now, I'm back, and did some simple experiments. Noticing that speccing Feral only gave you abilities (They're sub-par IMO), and not a passive damage boost, I specced resto for a bit, while playing like a feral, and I noticed my survivability skyrocketed massively, without losing any damage at all.
And with the WSG weekend, I suppose I better start grinding my looms. -Cough- F2P for half a year or so and still doesn't have looms or cloak of the bandit (RNG I HATE YOU). -Cough-
TL,DR
To all the ferals out there, it may be wise to spec resto and play as a feral.
