Back to F2P (And feral observations)

  • Hey all. I haven't really did F2P ever since the first MoP pre-patch, mainly because of the massive nerf to feral druids in my eyes. Their survivability plummeted, and the new skills were sub-par, and I found myself doing less damage than usual overall, to the point I'd lose 1V1 against people who had a similar skill level to me (which hasn't happened before. It used to be 50/50, which I liked, not too OP, not too UP.) As Ferals are my favourite twinking class, I gave up F2P for a bit.

Now, I'm back, and did some simple experiments. Noticing that speccing Feral only gave you abilities (They're sub-par IMO), and not a passive damage boost, I specced resto for a bit, while playing like a feral, and I noticed my survivability skyrocketed massively, without losing any damage at all.

And with the WSG weekend, I suppose I better start grinding my looms. -Cough- F2P for half a year or so and still doesn't have looms or cloak of the bandit (RNG I HATE YOU). -Cough-

    TL,DR
To all the ferals out there, it may be wise to spec resto and play as a feral.

i agree with aradiel...even as feral with only 1 heal (and rejuv is better than it used to be), its pretty hard to kill me one on one....i'm still having the same problem killing pallies (probably even be harder now...especially not being tauren-no interrupt) and priests are way harder than they used to be ...

    hunters are WAY easier.

...going 1v1 against another druid can be epic. its by far the most rewarding kill now imo (it used to be pallies for me...now if i kill a pally i'm like --wow he sucked).

i'm enjoying feral as much, if not more than before....it'll just take you a small bit to get used to it.

    Druids rock

Use Displacer Beast and just do this. Open on the person and keep attacking til you get 5 combo points (heal if nescessary, make sure you've used Rake) then apply Rip. Displacer Beast urself outta and prowl til u get back to full energy. Then open on him again, reapply rake if nescessary (heal if nescessary). Once you get 5 combo points use Tiger's Fury then unleash that Ferocious Bite.(use same strategy as this one when fighting efc or healer except add in a Savage Roar once you get 5 combo points the second time)

    Hope this helps! :)
