I've never quite understood the reason people camp. I've never enjoyed it, not even gank camping.
When I play PvP realms if I do gank someone I kill them once and go about my business, no sense in wasting my time camping them.

and in Battlegrounds why not just quick cap and get into the next game?

Because at this level, You maybe get 50-60 honor max if you kill people while the FC runs the flag back each time. Farming can get you a 100+ honor because people don't know the meaning of "stop rezzing" and continue to rez and get totally massacred. Even some actual twinks do it, again and again, feeding the opposing team honor. And it happens on both sides. Farming is really appealing for those who have no honor, which is why I get yelled at for telling the FC to cap, or if I cap it myself.
