Quaking Palm and Engineering Bombs don't sync well with rogues unfortunately, unless it's a target you aren't attacking directly (i.e. focus CC'ing). This is due to the DoT from Deadly Poison and Hemo.

Umm, they are still interrupts. When he says "solo" a healer it sounds like he is talking about a 1v1 in which case the length of a cc is irrelevant unless you need a bandage.

Not entirely, a rogue with a brain is going to be using those cc's to pool energy.

Pool energy... nice concept I guess, but that is implying what exactly... that you are going to be able to cc long enough get out of combat? That would hurt you more than the healer, since they will regain any mana you burned. Otherwise, if you aren't going to leave combat, your energy regen will continue at the same speed whether you auto attack or not. Why not auto + DoT whilst "pooling energy" Admittedly I haven't been great on a 19 rogue since early BC, but I do have one and am trying to follow your logic.

wouldn't blood elf be the best race for this? Arcane torrent for interrupt + silence and for rogues it gives you 15 energy

Pooling energy to get a restealth doesn't really make any sence, what I was reffering to. Basically what I did in cata and what you have to do to kill a healer as a rogue in this bracket is store cp and then widdle them down as much as low as you can while they are Bieng offensive. To do this properly you just sit their at 5 cp and ss/hemo (secrets out guys you don't just dump your cp everytime you get to 5)while maintains around 50 energy, as soon as they go for a heal you go for a bomb/racial let them sit the full cc and the dump your cp and spam hemo/ss and hopefully you had widdled them down far enough that they are just about dead or in a position where you can land an easy kick.

Basically what Auggi said. You need a CC that will give you downtime from attacking so you can regenerate energy for a big burst. A mere interrupt doesn't accomplish that.

You gotta time that bomb/sleep pretty perfect aswell, since for all I know, any damage will break the CC right? So hemo dot + deadly poison makes the disorientate a lot less useful :( Gouge didn't have that problem in cata. (cpt obvious)

Yea that was the point sneaky was making earlier which was what lead me to explain how pooling your energy was better then just spamming damage.
