Wrote blizz a ticket on pet battles as well. They said even though I bought pet battles using a paying account, I still wouldn't be able to use my linked f2p... Can still access all the pets though, and even cast the "revive battle pet" spell on my f2p. I seriously think they meant for it to be available and just botched it, and they are now saying it was intentional, just so they don't have to figure out how to fix it.
