why doesn't Sanctified Wrath work?

Sanctified Wrath is supposed to reduce my prot paladin's judgement CD by 50% but it's not doing that.

i am still pretty new to the paladin class, this is a SoR char and my /played is only like 2~3 days.

3.62sec cd without avenging wrath up
1.81sec cd with avenging wrath up

Seems to work just fine.

It's actually the highest dps talent for protection, since Judgement hits extremely hard now.

spam 1 holy power word of glory to trigger it and then cast Shield of the Righteous

sounds like OP dmg to me...

but you can only cast like at most 6 more judgement every 3 minutes...

if you spam 1 holy power world of glory to proc Divine Purpose - Spell - World of Warcraft, you get tons of free 3-HP Shield of the Righteous - Spell - World of Warcraft all the time.

Relying on a 25% proc by spamming word of glory (an ability that does zero damage), is not only a really bad way of using that talent, but also doesn't get the most out of your Holy Power.

Actually read the posts, Theck is literally the most renowned theorycrafter on this topic (tanking, but protection paladins specifically have more base theory than any other spec ingame). There's a talent comparison further down the post.

ok i thought about it. what i said is stupid, by my method, you receive on average 1 shield of righteous per 4 holy power as opposed to 1 shield per 3 if you just use it whenever you have 3 holy power.

but you do get some heals in....so maybe viable in pvp or in pve when you need to constantly heal yourself.

so i guess you were right, sanctified wrath is indeed the best dps booster.
