Prot warr FC

What I know I'm missing:
- 7 strength to gloves
- agm
- loom pvp trink (I got it on another char atm)
- second profession

So, I need some advice. Most say +8 stamina cloak is bis, but since I don't have one enchanted with +5 resistances, I don't know if it's worth to use. Any thoughts? I'm probably getting firebane cloak with +5 resistances later so I'll use that most of the time, but against a melee heavy team, which cloak should I use? This one, 8stam, or 4 dodge 4 str 4 stam?

Which would be ideal for a second profession?

Anything else I'm missing? Second argas would be BiS but as I'm not planning on factioning this char and horde argas is atm unobtainable, that isn't a possibility.

Thanks in advance for all the comments + advice! :)

use 8 stam cloak

minor speed boots

prob herb for 2nd prof, engi would be viable as well

spec double time

feel free to look up mine, i logged out non-grandfathered, i just need to change my cloak to 70 armor, and thats what yours should look like:

Also, i see you're using the burnished legplates, parry is nice but, i see you're not hit capped, hit cap is 7 for melee, so what i would suggest is using my gear setup, then using the polished legs, so you dont go over hit cap, but still get the same amount of stam, and gain 4 expertise

I don't get why you're using that shield tho, seeing as youre trading 3 str, 109 armor into 2 stam ;o Also, isn't resil dagger better?

Secondly, yes I'm missing 0,05% from hitcap, I will consider getting a little bit of hit from somewhere. I don't think that's very necessary though.

Also to Hurrx, yes I'm getting a minor speed pair aswell.

Stamina is important, however things like gold plated, where you make a trade off of armor for stamina, are not worth it in my opinion. Same with blood ring, I would much rather lose the 2 stamina and gain the 3 str and hit from Bravo Company Signet.

If you can't find a stam cloak with resists, don't worry too much, I'd say that 70 armor would be just as good.

2 additions: since you're dwarf, the 70 armor to cloak should be superior to resist because of stoneform

2nd, how much hit do those pants give you? :p I could see using bloodring for straight stam if you are at/near cap with pants/bracers.

get another pair of Sliver-linked Footguards, for 40% damage increase stack.

Yes, that is why I'm using redbeard which is BiS as far as I know.

One would think so, but seriously, you can't even compare ~1% physical damage reduction to 9,1% magical damage reduction. +5 resist cloak is BiS, even if it was on a white quality cloak.

I don't really know what you're trying to say, AFAIK stoneform is just straight out 10% damage reduction from all sources (except falling or similar ofc), and doesn't concern armor. Or does it really?

Pants give me 3 hit rating, and bracers give 3 too so I'm 0,05% from melee hitcap. I don't think it's very crucial to change blood ring to Bravo Company Signet, although both rings have their strengths. Any thoughts on this?

Yes, this is on my to do -list :)

Thanks you for the answers guys!

The dwarf racial could definitely have changed since I checked it last. My assumption was based off the old racial which increased armor by 10%. Straight damage reduction is better ofc. Some of my responses were actually directed towards other comments in thread :p

With the bonuses to armor that prot warrior gets you'll get slightly more than the 70 armor from the chant, however yes resists are still broken without spell pen.

Hitcap wise I would just stick to pants + bracers. Bravo Company won't be needed with BoA pants now.
